If you’re currently studying creative media, film or photography-related subjects and are already producing work that stands up in professional settings, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work on a high-profile, real-world project.
We’re The Marketing Junction, a marketing agency delivering content on behalf of a recruitment client, and we’re looking for a highly effective videographer/photographer to capture video and photographic content at student careers event. This isn’t a “practice” brief – the content will be used in future campaigns, social media and promotional materials.
Do a great job, and this could lead to ongoing paid freelance opportunities. We will also give you full release to use this in your portfolio and will give you a reference.
What you’ll do

Film professional-quality video content, including atmosphere footage, interactions, panel discussions and short vox-pop interviews

Capture strong, people-focused photography that reflects energy, confidence and engagement

Work independently on a live event, spotting moments, adapting quickly and managing your own workflow

Represent our agency professionally when engaging with attendees and stakeholders

Deliver clean, well-shot raw footage and images ready for editing and marketing use
The event runs across AM and PM sessions, giving you a full day of varied, portfolio-worthy content.
What you’ll need

Your own equipment, suitable for both video and photography

Evidence of strong practical ability, whether through freelance work, placements or standout personal projects

Confidence and professionalism when working in a live environment

Full availability on Wednesday 14 January 2026 and ability to travel to Medway

You don’t need years of agency experience – but you do need to be capable, organised and confident in the quality of your work.
